Last night I was standing in the pool looking at the full moon thinking "Is God great or what. I cannot believe the gifts He's given sometimes.
I too used to wait for "the other shoe to drop" and sometimes it did!
But through my journey here on earth I've learned; God LOVES me. "What father would give his son a stone when he asks for a fish? If we as humans would not do this how much more will the auther of love do?
Our fight is not against flesh and blood.....In Col. 1.21 Paul says "Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in YOUR minds because of your evil behavior"
Our behavior tells us how bad we are and being rational thinkers, we look at our behavior and say "God can't possibly love me. Infact I'm sure He must hate me."
The auther of lies wants us to believe that.In YOUR mind God must hate you.
Not true my friend, the AUTHOR of Love loves you. It's in your mind that the battle is being fought.And a ferocios battle it is. Set your mind on Christ, keep it there, focus there, and build your fortress there.
